We are seeking an Endocrinologist with a commitment to compassionate, patient centered care, a desire to work in a collaborative professional environment, andenthusiasm for ongoing process improvement. Continuity outpatient clinics Creation and management of templates and order sets to facilitate non-face-to-face care (Consults, e-consultation) Completion of Endocrinology consults and/or medical Endocrinology E-consults Telemedicine/VOD Indirect patient care:
returning telephone calls, responding to patient emails,reviewing and renewing prescriptions, reviewing laboratory and imagining data,communicating results to patients, and implementing improved quality in systems delivery Attend section and service meetings virtually Other duties as assigned. United States Citizenship:
Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Physical requirements outlined below. Reference:

Heavy lifting (45 pounds and over); Use of fingers; Both hands required; Walking (up to 8 hours); Standing (up to 8 hours); Ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously; Near vision correctable at 13 to 16 to Jaeger 1 to 4; Both eyes required; Depth perception; Ability to distinguish shades of color; Hearing aid (permitted). The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
