Maintenance Worker

Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Repair leaks of various types of plumbing fixtures. Repair to various types of carts. Replacing defective electrical components such as light switches, outlets, etc. Replace various furniture fixtures. Conduct minor repairs of electric beds, portable sinks, coffee urns, conveyors, and various ward furniture. Determine material requirements, diagnose trouble and make necessary repairs to a variety of equipment. Cross-train in various critical cleaning procedures that require a knowledge of specialized aseptic techniques to include but not limited to, Operating/Recovery Rooms, Intensive Care Units, Life Support Observation/Treatment Room, etc. Run powered cleaning equipment Work from ladders Work with various Chemicals May be required to perform duties as a Work Leader. Duties include but not limited to:
Communicate with other Housekeepers/Supervisors Designate tasks to be perform Coach in demonstrating proper work procedures and methods Monitor work to ensure safety policies/procedures are followed Report work progress to Supervisor. Work Schedule:

Experience:

Works Indoors/Outdoors, Administrative, and Clinical settings. Must be alert to the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and fellow employees. Indoor work is generally in areas with adequate heat/air conditioning, light, and ventilation. Work may be assigned in tight, cramped, wet, dry, and dusty areas. Occasional minor cuts, scrapes, bruises and electrical shocks occur. Exposure to skin irritations from strong chemical solutions may occur.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
