Leading global medical device company is seeking an experienced accounting manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and CPA licensure required
10
years of accounting experience, in manufacturing and foreign entity consolidation preferred
5
years supervising staff required, including recruitment, team building and training
Knowledge of current US GAAP regulations regarding financial reporting and footnote disclosure
Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong background in Excel formulas and macros required
Experience with ERP based accounting systems, OLAP based business intelligence systems and computerized consolidation systems
In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules required, business intelligence and analytics software experience a plus
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage general ledger accounting function, including financial reports
Manage quarterly and year-end consolidations
Assist in calculation of inventory valuation, allowances, excess reserves and performance indicators
Supervise preparation of tax work papers and reporting schedules to government entities
Assist in the preparation of audit reconciliations schedules
Monitor financial note and lease agreements for renewal, compliance, and disclosure requirements
Assist in the preparation of budgets and variance analysis
Supervise treasure accounting groupEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
