30PM, ( Monday - Friday ), may include Saturdays The Advanced Medical Support Assistant (PACT) will be assigned to the Lee County Healthcare Clinic (Cape Coral, FL).
DUTIES:
Incumbent works as an Advanced Medical Support Assistant (MSA), located within Imaging Service at Lee County Healthcare Center.
The Advanced MSA works collaboratively in an interdisciplinary, coordinated care delivery model within the individual sections of the Imaging Service, coordinating with the individual Imaging Supervisors, Imaging Technologists, Imaging Physicians and Imaging Leadership by using various reports (e.
g.
, Imaging daily log reports, incomplete section worklist, consult evaluation lists, etc.
), ensuring all Imaging orders have been addressed and followed through to completion or reconciled.

Incumbent works independently making decisions based on guidelines, precedents and regulations, and performs duties in such a manner that only minimal supervision is required.
She/he coordinates patient exams and constantly prioritizes workflow on their assigned section.
Perform scheduling, canceling, re-scheduling of patient appointments and/or consults; entering no-show information; arrange appointments so that when several imaging exams are requested they do not conflict with one another for multiple areas of Imaging Service:
CT Scan, Fluoroscopy, General Radiography, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT and Ultrasound.
