Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining cleanliness and sterility in medical environments to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following established protocols - Monitor and document sterilization processes - Maintain inventory of supplies needed for sterilization procedures - Adhere to infection control policies and procedures - Assist in the organization and stocking of medical supplies We will train you:
- Experience with sterilization techniques - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality - Familiarity with electronic medical records systems - Understanding of anatomy and medical terminology - Proficiency in using Dentrix dental software.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures - Knowledge of X-Ray procedures.
- Ability to take vital signs and assist in patient assessment This position offers the opportunity to to learn dental skills that can lead to becoming a dental assistant and contribute to the smooth operation of a healthcare facility while ensuring patient safety through proper sterilization practices.
