Job Description:
A performace boat manufacture is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee all operations of our facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and all materials are correctly ordered, received, and documented.
Key
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring efficient and effective production.
Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and documentation of materials.
Implement and oversee task management systems, ensuring tasks are scheduled and completed efficiently.
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Maintain a strong focus on cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Liaise with other department managers to ensure overall company alignment and cohesion.
Be responsible for hiring, training, and retaining skilled staff.
Regularly report to senior management on progress and business metrics.
Required Skills and
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Education:
Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in spreadsheets, task management software, and general IT skills.
Leadership:
Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team building, motivation, and staff development.
Communication:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to think creatively and innovatively while handling pressure and challenges.
