CNA, Medical Assistant or LPN for Pre-Admission Staff - Pre-op Phone Calls
Description The CNA, Medical Assistant or LPN is a member of the patient care team.
This position is primarily collecting patient history, making patient phone calls, obtaining surgical-medical, cardiac, pulmonary clearances, working closely with Surgeon's offices to obtain patient information and patient chart preparation.
Duties to also include when needed are helping with patient preparation, moving patients, assist with room/bed turnover, restocking units, recording vitals and medical history, instrument care and a variety clinical task in a clinical setting.
The employee must be an effective communicator in written and verbal communication and have the ability to work effectively with all patients and medical staff.
REQUIREMENTS :
Two years of related experience in a healthcare organization.
Experience with Surgical Pre-Admission obtaining patient historyExcellent Communicator and phone skillsCertification Required.
Computer skillsEnglish speaking is required.
Spanish speaking is preferred.
