Their duties include reviewing plans, scope of work and material lists.
Could include retrieving the necessary permits and communicating the client's goals for certain projects to the subcontractors and internal staff.
Objectives Productive guidance, efficient communication and apt supervision of the project's team.
Job Duties Responsible for any delays, emergencies and problems that can arise Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements Establishes a pre-construction meeting at the start of each job Report project progress to the client Explain contract and technical matter to others in a clear manner Creates punch list and job completion Ensures compliance with all company rules, policies and agreements Supervises field staff and subcontractors Evaluates quality at each production step Report and escalate to management as needed Perform risk management to minimize project risks Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation though daily logs Project Manager Skills and
Qualifications:
Experience in project management within construction, comfortable reading and understanding drawings, scope of work, specifications, proficient in general computer software.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction and cabinetry.
Ability to budget, schedule, and control costs.
High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions.
