Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the clients hotels - Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices - Manage rates and control costs and cost management activities to ensure profitability - Supervise the work of hotel general managers and clerks and other on-site staff - Provide technical accounting guidance to the organization - Manage hotel rate and occupancy - Ensure accurate accrual accounting for all expenses and revenues - Develop strategies for rate and event promotions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA preferred - 7
years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role - Strong knowledge of cost management, financial statement preparation, technical accounting, and accrual accounting principles - Experience managing accounts payable and other financial services - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
